Pivot Legal Society targets the law as a way of bringing about positive changes to the lives of Vancouver's most marginalized populations (including sex workers and the homeless).

Pivot argues for the decriminalizatoin of sex work. Pivot was integral to the Canada v. Bedford case which resulted in the striking down of three laws related to the criminalization of sex work.

Like Pivot, PACE society is focused on bringing programs and services to Vancouver's most marginalized populations. Located in the downtown eastside, PACE provides emergency support to sex workers as well as additional support services.

By utilizing a harm reduction approach, PACE hopes to create an environment in which sex workers are free from violence and discrimination and are provided the same rights to life and liberty as promised to all other Canadian citizens.

PEERS Victoria was established by, with, and for sex workers in 1995. They provide a number of services including drop-in centers, outreach programs, and small business training.

Their website has an extensive list of Canadian and American resources which can be referred to for further information regarding sex work, sex workers rights, and available services [for sex workers].

Founded in 1994 in Thailand, the Global Alliance Against the Trafficking of Women (GAATW) is a world-wide network of organisations whose purpose is commiting to the rights of the lives women, men and children affected by human trafficking criminalities.

GAATW's agenda is based upon the principles of a human-rights framework and has made formidable strides in contributing to anti-trafficking movements and contemporary discourses of trafficking.

Alongside GAATW, the Coalition Against the Trafficking of Women is a non-governmental organization that commits itself to criminalizing the buying practices of sexual services. However, differing from GAATW, CATW International adheres to an abolitionist perspective which entails the eradiction of all human trafficking.

Established in 1988, CATW International has an extensive network and works in conjunction with Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, Latin America, and North America.
